The Hidden Revenue Stream: How Gift Cards and Add-Ons Boost Your Bottom Line
The Overlooked Opportunity Most studio owners spend their energy filling classes and booking appointments. That’s the core revenue, so it makes...
Yesterday we shipped a couple of improvements to Pike13 checkout, not least of which is the ability to sell merchandise. Now you can sell T-shirts, water bottles, and creative caffeination (hurray!).
Business owners can configure merchandise with different modifiers and add-ons that staff can sell to clients and walk-ins right on your Pike13 site.
A product can have modifiers (like size and color), which can have price adjustments on them. In the image above you can see that a venti latte costs $1 more than a tall.
In addition to modifiers, products can have add-ons. These, too, can have price adjustments, like an Extra Shot for $0.50.
A customer adds a product to the shopping cart just like anything else they might buy in Pike13. Products can be sold just like a Pass or a Plan and will show up on the receipt as you would expect.
Go forth and sell!
