Music & Lyrics Academy opened this year in Orlando, Florida. Music teachers for over 10 years, owners Tavie and Adele Basarich offer expert lessons and recording in their clients’ homes.

On starting their new venture, Tavie describes, “After studying music for 20 years and releasing a solo EP, ‘Love Is A Choice,’ I wanted to share my connections in the industry as well as what I learned with younger artists just getting started.”

Tavie and Adele work with students, from beginner to established, through programs geared to get them on stage, in a recording studio, or in front of the camera. Adele adds, “Our inspiration is seeing how happy our students are when they learn a new piece of challenging music or begin to express themselves through songwriting.”

The Basarich’s commitment to their students is the reason why many have gone on to have seen success in college, record deals, and tours. Adele notes the key to their success with students, “You develop a mentoring relationship with them and it’s incredible to see their confidence blossom through music.”

Pike13 was a natural choice when Music & Lyrics Academy decided to change their scheduling software. Tavie was looking for a program that’d help with all the spreadsheets and paper checks they were handling. His experience began with a demo of the platform.
