A Look Back at Pike13 in 2016

2016 has been a roller coaster year for Pike13. These are a few things that stand out to us from the past 12 months.


December is a time for reflection, and 2016 has been a roller coaster year for Pike13. These are a few things that stand out to us from the past 12 months.


Improving our Software

We released several new features, updates and integrations designed to improve usability, flexibility, and capacity. Highlights include:

  • The Branded Client App. Customized to your business, the app strengthens your brand, distinguishes you from your competitors, and puts your business in your client’s pocket. The app makes enrollment and scheduling fast and easy for your clients and your staff, and we’re already working on next set of features based on your feedback.   • Insights Reporting. Available for Pike13 Pro and Enterprise Plans, Insights is based on years of experience helping small businesses grow. Insights makes it easy to understand the health of your business by removing noisy data that causes confusion and providing you with the key data points that you need to take meaningful action for your business right now.   • New Integrations. Your Pike13 software is enhanced by custom integrations. We strategically partner with companies whose features complement and integrate smoothly with Pike13 software, ensuring that you have all the tools you need to run and grow your business. This year we were thrilled to add an integration with ClassPass, and announce an upcoming integration with Facebook that will be available very soon.

Other feature improvements tackled auto-enrollment, group rates, flexible billing, and more. All of our product updates are driven by your needs - it’s just one of the ways Pike13 serves as a partner to your business. We’d love to hear more of your feedback, so please consider leaving us a review.

Engaging Community

We love meeting our customers in person. Pike13 was founded by gym owners and our staff is full of fitness junkies, so we both understand your business needs and share in your passions. We were thrilled to sponsor the Box Pro Leadership summit this year, and look forward to sponsoring it again in 2017. We are also grateful to those of you who participated in testing our new features and offering feedback. Involving you in product development is just one of the ways we ensure that we’re designing our software for you. Your success is our success.


Overcoming Loss

We've had some wonderful moments this year, but we also endured heartbreaking loss. In April we lost our CEO and co-founder, Jon Zimmerman. His passion and kindness were the heart of Pike13, and his absence continues to be felt in our office. Jon is greatly missed, and his values of integrity, empathy and innovation remain the core pillars of Pike13.


Looking Ahead to 2017

2017 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for Pike13. Technology will be more important than ever to the fitness business next year, and Pike13 is ready. We’re planning new features and integrations based on your needs. We’re planning to meet even more of you in person by participating in community events. And we’re growing our team to take Pike13 to the next level while still providing the superior product and customer support that you’ve come to expect from us. It’s going to be a great year.
