Upping their game: Walbeck Baseball Academy case study

They drew on all of their experience—from time in the Majors to managing competitive youth baseball teams—to launch Walbeck Baseball Academy in 2012.

Their 11 instructors and managers administer baseball programs at two indoor locations and multiple outdoor venues for a range of players that starts with elementary school teams and ends with a college pitcher preparing for the Major League draft.

Matt and Glen began to see that they’d need something to help them deal with so many locations, staff needing to manage clients on the go, and parents constantly checking on their children’s schedules. As they scanned the dugout for options, they found a pinch hitter ready to swing.
