For a small business owner, getting new clients to sign up can be tricky. Face-to-face, you can easily figure out which of your services a new client will be most interested in, but many potential clients never make it to that point. Word-of-mouth references and marketing efforts can bring new prospects to your website, where they’ll need to figure out on their own what it is you do and how it aligns with their interests.
Guide these potential clients to the services that would most interest them, just as you would in person, so you don’t lose them in an overwhelming list of all your services.
To help you do this, Pike13 gives you the ability to organize the services you offer using service categories. Manipulating these groupings gives you the power to feature what you do best in an organized, easy-to-navigate layout—that way visitors to your site can quickly find what they’re interested in. Smart, intuitive groupings will drive people through your site toward checkout and ultimately to your business to be checked in as new regulars.
Here’s how you can make service categories work for you.
From your Services page, click Manage Categories.
Group the services you provide by skill level, age and gender, service type, or however you please.
Add these as landing pages on your Pike13 website by going to your Pike13 Website editor and choosing the Navigation tab (Settings > Pike13 Website > Navigation > + Create a New Page)
Bonus tip As always, you can link these pages to your own business website. Do this by choosing Link to here from the page in your editor.
And start converting those online visitors into your newest members.
