Halloween is a multi-billion dollar industry in the United States alone. It’s one of the most popular holidays, which means there’s a good chance your clients (and maybe even you!) are pretty excited about it. So why leave your business out of the fun?
Here are three things you can do at your business to take advantage of Halloween’s popularity this year:
It really doesn’t matter if your business has nothing to do with Halloween. You can still have fun with the holiday. Change your email template to a spooky theme, post photos of staff in costume on your social media channels, tweak your content to take on a ‘spookier’ tone for the month. The possibilities are endless! For more tips check out How to Tailor Your Marketing Campaign for Halloween.
Pumpkin carving contest? Costume parade? Scary movie night? Any one of these could be a great way to bring your clients together at your facility. Take it further and hand out branded treats at the event. Your clients will have a lot of fun, and the benefits last longer than the one night–events like these create a sense of community that increase overall client retention.
A music school might teach students to play “The Monster Mash”. A dance school might teach the moves to “Thriller”. A gym might create a spooky playlist to accompany workouts. No matter what type of business you run, there’s a way to incorporate the spirit of Halloween into what you do.
Taking part in the holidays shows your clients that you are excited to be a part of their community. It’s an important part of the client experience that you don’t want to miss out on. So enjoy this holiday season, and have fun with it!
