THE CLASSIC (Basic needs: 1 iPad, 1 smartphone, 1 computer)
This bread-and-butter layout for businesses of all sizes accommodates facilities with some staff and resources.

At the entrance
Your doorway is one of the best places to catch and keep track of clients when they come to visit.

Where Pike13 comes in An iPad running the Pike13 Client Kiosk greets clients as they arrive at your facility. Clients pull out their own mobile devices and scan their QR code to sign in.
TIP The self-service kiosk frees up instructors to make any last-minute preparations for class as clients arrive.

In the rec space
Whether it’s a weight room, a music chamber, or a dance floor, this is where the magic happens. Your clients come here to learn to do cool stuff.
Where Pike13 comes in An instructor wielding a smartphone can quickly check the roster to see if anyone’s missing or if anyone managed to sneak in without signing a waiver.
TIP By tapping the missing waiver notification next to a client’s name on the roster, the client can sign with their finger right there on the instructor’s phone.

Before Pike13, this area may have featured a filing cabinet or stacks of financial records and paper waivers.

Where Pike13 comes in All that is here now is a computer running the Pike13 staff site. Business owners run weekly financial reports from this spot to check on the revenue coming in.
TIP Two reports in particular—Current Unpaid Bills and Unpaid Visits—help you ensure that no clients fall too far behind on their payments.

THE TRUE Pike13 (Basic needs: 1 computer/iPad)
Business owners with the timeless personal touch favor a setup that features a traditional receptionist greeting clients at an actual Pike13.

At the front counter
This is where arriving clients come to check in and chit chat for a minute before class.

Where Pike13 comes in A computer or iPad running the Pike13 staff site behind the desk allows an admin to check clients into class.
TIP If you’re understaffed, instructors can double-dip as admins, checking clients into class from behind the desk as they arrive before instructing them, and then returning to the desk to take care of any client account issues.

THE MOBILE MARAUDER (Basic needs: 1 iPhone)
For those brave, entrepreneurial sole proprietors who have truly embraced the mobile-first world we live in, Pike13 lets you run your entire business from your smartphone.

In the park/at home visit/on the field
These business owners are always on the go, teaching classes in parks or visiting clients at their homes for private sessions.

Where Pike13 comes in With just an iPhone running the Pike13 Staff App, an owner can take attendance, sell passes and plans, and add new clients.
TIP Outfit your iPhone with a mobile swiper to make accepting credit card payments easy no matter where you are.
